Santorini-Fisher's save Greek economy!

Early start from Athens to catch the fast boat to Santorini.  Leave at 7.30am to arrive a 11.55am via Ios Island (party island).  Eventually arrived in Santorini at 1.00pm.  Very comfotable on huge boat that would have been 20% full.  We had decided to stay in the main town of Fira.  Great resort with uninterrupted views of water down the hill/cliff.  Large pool and 5 minutes to the centre of Fira and bus 'terminal'.
We have stayed 3 nights which gave us a chance to visit most of the Island including a number of beaches (Red, White, Black and Perissa).  We spent all of Friday at Perissa where the economy is struggling. We had chairs/umbrella plus any cocktail/drink of your choice for 6 euro each.  Then after having a huge well-priced lunch (see photo) at the cafe attached to the chairs we were then given a large beer each to take back to our chairs.  At the end of the day we caught the little boat back to Kamari and then bus to Fira-all very efficient.  We have seen the sunset 3 times here and although it has been very nice it was not a 'life-changing romantic experience!
