Wednesday 27 June morning Fishing village of Naoussa
Had a great time in
Parikia. Have visited beaches each day
including the ‘famous’ wind surfing
Golden Beach.
Yesterday we moved from
Parikia to Naoussa which is the main fishing village. I think of Parikia as a daggy Mooloolaba and
Naoussa as a much nicer Noosa.
Once we arrived by local bus
(25 minutes) we found our hotel which wasn’t the one we thought we had
booked. We had seen Manis Hotel when we
were on the bus a few days ago but we actually booked Manos Hotel. They are about 200 metres apart but both have
pools etc. Anyway so far so good and the
extra 200 metres into the town is not a problem.

Parikia harbour
At Naoussa you catch little boats to the beaches. We did one yesterday afternoon and plan to do the same today. The weather is HOT. Luckily all the beaches have umbrellas etc.
Lunch again-another beach
Naoussa scene
old Port Naoussa-taken from dinner table
Feta in phyllo with honey and black sesame seeds
Old Port-young girl!
