Left Santorini at lunchtime today for Parikia which is the capital of Paros. Fairly busy but laid back town right on the beach. Very different crowd to Santorini. In Santorini the ships called in and the crowd was much older. On the beach in Parikia is dominated by young people and families. School holidays have started.
We just went to the beach in the afternoon and out for dinner and football last night. Every restaurant had France v Germany on. It started at 9.45pm local time so it was busy. As we went home it looked like the young and night clubs were starting up.
Had a long chat to the owner of the place we were at and he was concerned about lack of tourists although this weekend has been encouraging.
I am starting the pictures with a couple of our Fira resort.
Now a few signs that we came across on our arrival.
