Friday Night
Last night in Mondavio and
velvet beaches
Yesterday we went to the
‘velvet beach’ at Senigallia which is 30k away.
It is all sand and goes for miles and must have thousands of chairs all
lined up. We even paid for the chairs
and umbrella and had a lovely day just reading, swimming and eating. Arrived home in time for a quick shower to
get the sun cream off before a drink up at the bar. Although the bar has been mentioned many
times, it needs to be because it is where everyone meets. They even know our order now and they
continue to correct my Italian whilst laughing with us. I probably go there 3 times a day. Early (with laptop) for early expresso and
get to watch the little yellow school buses (15 seaters) dropping off the kids
between 8 and 8.30. Then again after breakfast with Robyn and about 7ish for
pre-dinner drinks and wonderful snacks that come out on a plate to your table.
We are off to Verona for 2
days tomorrow. We will be home in a
month. To the people who thought 14 weeks would be too long-it is too short and
we are already planning where we will go next time.
