San Sebastian #2

For those of you who read yesterday's post-I got a bit ahead of myself.  I was posting it last night (which is todays if that makes sense and of course we had one more day in San Seb).  However, as a bit of a teaser for the next post we are currently having a beer at a hotel in Huesca where we are staying Wednesday night our time.  I bet no one reading this has ever heard of it never mind actually been here!  Well it is a little gem.  Juan, behind the bar, is our newest best mate and we are off to dinner now.  Anyway read the next post-full of adventure on the backroads of northern inland Spain.. Who has tried angulas?  Google that one!!

Little shower this morning then warm.  Breakfast at local ‘cafe’.  Their version of toasted sandwich (huge) plus 2 coffees for 5 euro. Off to the local market-check out the fish! Climbed to top of outlook to where a huge Christ figure is.  Took about 2 hours round trip.  Also went to the museum that celebrates the local basque culture.  All of this plus lunch and the day was done.

Tried the pintxo again in the evening.  Already have our favourites but some were closed.  I can imagine that on the weekend in summer it must be out of control.  Our fav place doesn’t even charge you to the end and then it is sort of an honesty system
