Wednesday was a chance to hit the laundromat and it is nice to wear jeans that don't stand up on their own. I also had a haircut. No real problem as a number 2 is just a number deux. Cheaper than Melbourne. Great weather at last. Another afternoon of villages with lunch. Dinner at Saumur's Brown Cow equivilent. Great food with slick service.
Thursday saw us up early and on the toll road to St Emilon near Bordeaux. 4 hours and 17 euro later we were in St Emilon. If you have never visited then it must go onto your 'bucket list'. The hotel is right in the cobbled streets which when the day visitors leave are empty.
